Inside Edge ("we," "our," "us") values your privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your data across our mobile app and web services. By using Inside Edge, you consent to such practices.
Please read this Policy before using the Platform or submitting any personal information to Inside Edge. This Policy is a part of and incorporated within, and is to be read along with, the Terms of Use ("Terms"). For the purposes of this Policy, unless defined hereunder, all capitalized terms shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Terms. By using the Platform, or the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree with the privacy practices described in this Policy, and the Terms and the collection, storage and processing of your information in accordance with them.
Scope & Applicability
- • Applicable to all users accessing Inside Edge via app or web.
- • For minors under 18, parental consent is required. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
- • This Policy should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions.
Personal Data Collected
a) User-Provided Data:
- • Account info: name, phone (via OTP), email (via Google/Apple sign-in), DOB (optional), gender (optional), profile image.
- • Academic details: college, course, degree, work experience, skills, expertise tags.
- • Payment info: UPI details via secure third-party gateway.
- • Verification documents: degree ID, work proofs (for mentors).
- • Communications: chat/call metadata, user feedback, ratings, support tickets.
b) Automatically Collected Data:
- • Device info: type, OS, unique device ID.
- • App usage: session logs, actions within app, error reports.
- • Cookies & analytics data.
Purpose of Use
We use your data to:
- • Manage accounts and deliver core features.
- • Authenticate, verify mentors.
- • Provide personalized suggestions and search results.
- • Facilitate payments, invoicing, and wallet balance + transaction history.
- • Improve app stability, performance, and security.
- • Monitor fraud, and comply with legal requirements.
Sharing & Disclosures
We share user data with:
- • Other users (mentor/student) during interactions.
- • Service providers (Firebase, Razorpay, CleverTap, analytics) under confidentiality agreements.
- • Third-party integrations (e.g., Google, Apple) only with your consent.
- • Legal entities when required by law enforcement or court orders.
We do NOT sell or rent user data to third parties for advertising purposes.
Security & Retention
- • We use industry-standard SSL encryption for data in transit and secure storage practices.
- • Access to your personal data is restricted based on internal roles.
- • We retain data while accounts are active or as needed for legal compliance, then anonymize or delete it.
- • You may request data access, correction, portability, deletion, or restrict processing via connect@insideedge.club
Cookies & Tracking
- • We use cookies and local storage for session maintenance and analytics.
- • Push notifications and tracking are optional and fully controllable via device/app settings.
- • In compliance with Apple App Tracking Transparency, we request explicit consent for tracking under iOS.
Third-Party Services
- • The app integrates with trusted providers like Firebase, Facebook, Apple, and Google.
- • Each provider has its own privacy practices, we recommend checking their policies individually.
User Controls
- • You can update your profile, preferences, or disable notifications anytime.
- • You may revoke consent to data collection or delete your account in-app.
- • If you delete your account, we remove your personal data; residual logs (e.g., call records, invoices) may be retained for legal reasons.
Changes to Policy
We may update this Policy occasionally. We'll notify you for significant changes via in-app or email, with updates reflected here. Continued app use after the updates implies consent to the revised terms.

Governed by the laws of India.
