Register for JEE Main on the NTA portal

Create your account on jeemain.nta.nic.in. Fill in all personal and academic details, upload your photo and signature, and pay the fee. Keep your application number safe.

Download the official NTA syllabus

Get the JEE Main 2026 syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, and Maths from the NTA website. Map every topic to its NCERT chapter so you know exactly what to cover.

Complete NCERT for all three subjects

Read every NCERT chapter for Class 11 and 12 in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. For Chemistry, NCERT alone covers 30–40% of JEE Main questions directly — don't skip a line.

Study beyond NCERT with standard reference books

Physics: HC Verma Vol 1 & 2 + DC Pandey. Chemistry: MS Chauhan (Organic) + OP Tandon (Inorganic). Maths: RD Sharma + Arihant 41 Years PYQs. Don't add more books — go deeper, not wider.

Solve JEE Main PYQs chapter-wise (2019–2025)

Previous year questions reveal the exact difficulty level and question types NTA favours. Solve them chapter-wise after finishing each topic, then full papers in the final month.

Take weekly mock tests in online mode

JEE Main is a Computer-Based Test. Practise on NTA's official mock portal to get used to the interface. Take at least 2 full mocks per week in the 2 months before the exam.

Maintain a mistake notebook

Log every wrong answer with the correct approach and the concept it tests. Review it every Sunday. This single habit separates toppers from the rest — don't skip it.

Revise your weakest chapters before Session 1

In the 3–4 weeks before the exam, focus extra revision on your bottom 3 chapters per subject. Revise formula sheets every morning — 30 minutes is enough.

Download admit card & prep exam day

Download your admit card from jeemain.nta.nic.in as soon as it releases. Visit the exam center a day before, pack your photo ID, and get 7–8 hours of sleep the night before.

Check results & register for JEE Advanced

After Session 1 results, analyze the official answer key to find gaps before Session 2. If you qualify in the top 2.5 lakh, register for JEE Advanced — the registration window is short.
