AILET SC / ST / OBC closing ranks sit several times higher than General. Always predict with your actual category — never default to General.
Don't Stop at List 1
Closing ranks typically move outward by hundreds of ranks between List 1 and List 7. A Borderline call early can become Safe by a later list.
Keep a CLAT Backup
AILET only opens NLU Delhi. If your rank is Borderline, keep your CLAT preference list live — NLSIU, NALSAR and NLU Jodhpur may be safer bets.
