What is CLAT?
CLAT UG is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities for admission to five-year integrated law programmes (BA LLB, BBA LLB, B.Sc LLB and others) at participating NLUs including NLSIU Bengaluru, NALSAR Hyderabad and WBNUJS Kolkata.
CLAT 2027 (for the 2027–28 academic year) is held in December 2026. It is a comprehension-based test — every section is built around passages, so reading speed and understanding matter more than memorised facts.

- 2Take at least 30–40 full-length mocks and analyse each one for an hour.
- 3Legal Reasoning questions reward careful reading of the principle, not outside legal knowledge.
- 4Keep monthly current-affairs notes from the January before the exam onwards.
