- 1Go to bitsadmission.com and open the BITSAT 2027 application link.
- 2Register with your mobile number and email, then note down the application number and password.
- 3Fill in personal, academic and exam-centre details, and upload your photo and signature in the format the bulletin specifies.
- 4Pay the application fee online and download the confirmation page — keep it until admissions are over.
What is BITSAT?
BITSAT is a computer-based test conducted by BITS Pilani for admission to its integrated first-degree programmes at the Pilani, K K Birla Goa and Hyderabad campuses. BITS does not accept JEE scores, so BITSAT is the only route in.
You can appear in both sessions and the better score counts. BITSAT rewards speed and accuracy — 130 questions in 180 minutes means you get under 1.5 minutes per question.

BITSAT 2027 Eligibility Criteria
Check these before you register.
- Passed or appearing in Class 12 (2027), or passed in 2026, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (Biology for B.Pharm).
- Minimum 75% aggregate in PCM (or PCB for B.Pharm), with at least 60% in each subject.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Board toppers get direct admission to the programme of their choice.

When is BITSAT 2027?
BITSAT is held in two sessions. In 2026, Session 1 was on 15–16 April and Session 2 on 25–27 May, with Session 1 registration from 15 December to 19 March. BITSAT 2027 is expected to follow the same pattern; BITS announces exact dates in its admission brochure.
Does BITS accept JEE Main scores?
No. Admission to BITS Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses is only through BITSAT (or direct admission for board toppers).
What is the minimum Class 12 percentage for BITSAT?
You need at least 75% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, with at least 60% in each subject.
Can I write both BITSAT sessions?
Yes. You can appear in both sessions and your better score will be used for admission.
When is the BITSAT 2027 registration?
Session 1 registration: 15 Dec 2026 – 19 Mar 2027 (expected); Session 2 registration: 20 Apr – 5 May 2027 (expected). Apply on the official website, bitsadmission.com.
