- 2Register with your mobile number and email, then note down the application number and password.
- 3Fill in personal, academic and exam-centre details, and upload your photo and signature in the format the bulletin specifies.
- 4Pay the application fee online and download the confirmation page — keep it until admissions are over.

What is MHT CET?
MHT CET is conducted by the State CET Cell for admission to engineering, pharmacy and agriculture courses in Maharashtra's government, aided and private colleges, including COEP, VJTI and SPIT.
There are two groups: PCM (engineering, pharmacy) and PCB (pharmacy, agriculture), held in separate windows — PCM first, then PCB. Questions are roughly 20% from Class 11 and 80% from Class 12, and there is no negative marking.

MHT CET 2027 Eligibility Criteria
Check these before you register.
- Passed or appearing in Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics plus one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or a technical vocational subject (for engineering).
- Minimum 45% in the relevant subjects (40% for reserved categories of Maharashtra) for engineering admission.
- Candidates from outside Maharashtra can apply for All India seats.

- Mathematics questions carry 2 marks each; Physics and Chemistry carry 1 mark each.

When is MHT CET 2027?
MHT CET is held in April. In 2026 the PCM group ran from 11 to 20 April and the PCB group from 21 to 26 April, with registration from 10 January to 24 February. MHT CET 2027 is expected on a similar schedule.
Is there negative marking in MHT CET?
No. MHT CET has no negative marking. Mathematics questions are worth 2 marks each; Physics and Chemistry questions are worth 1 mark each.
Can students from other states take MHT CET?
Yes. Students from outside Maharashtra can write MHT CET and compete for All India quota seats in Maharashtra colleges.
When is the MHT CET 2027 registration?
Registration: 10 Jan – 24 Feb 2027 (expected). Apply on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
When will the MHT CET 2027 result be declared?
Result: 15 Jun 2027 (expected). Results are published on cetcell.mahacet.org.
