- 2Register with your mobile number and email, then note down the application number and password.
- 3Fill in personal, academic and exam-centre details, and upload your photo and signature in the format the bulletin specifies.

What is NEET UG?
NEET UG is conducted by the National Testing Agency and is the only entrance exam for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and BSMS admissions in India. AIIMS and JIPMER also admit through NEET, and the score is used for B.Sc Nursing at many institutes and for BVSc & AH.
With over 20 lakh candidates every year, NEET UG is India's largest entrance exam. 15% of government seats are filled through MCC All India Quota counselling and 85% through state counselling, along with deemed and central university seats.

Check these before you register.
- Passed or appearing in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English.
- Minimum 50% in PCB for General (40% for SC/ST/OBC, 45% for General-PwD) to qualify for admission.
- Minimum age of 17 years as on 31 December 2027. There is no upper age limit.
- No limit on the number of attempts.

When is NEET UG 2027?
NEET UG is usually held on the first Sunday of May. NEET UG 2027 is expected on 2 May 2027, with registration in February–March.
What happened with NEET UG 2026?
NEET UG 2026 was first held on 3 May 2026, then cancelled, and the exam was conducted again on 21 June 2026. The re-exam pushed results and counselling later than usual. NTA has not said whether this will change the 2027 schedule — we'll update this page when the NEET UG 2027 notice is out.
Is there an age limit for NEET?
You must be at least 17 years old by 31 December of the admission year. There is currently no upper age limit and no cap on attempts.
How many questions are there in NEET UG?
NEET UG has 180 compulsory questions — 45 each from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology — for a total of 720 marks in 3 hours.
Is NEET held online?
No. NEET UG is a pen-and-paper exam where you mark answers on an OMR sheet.
What is a good score in NEET to get a government MBBS seat?
It depends on category, state and the year's difficulty. In recent years, General category students have typically needed 600+ out of 720 for a government MBBS seat through All India Quota. Use our NEET college predictor for your score.
When is the NEET UG 2027 registration?
Registration: 8 Feb – 8 Mar 2027 (expected). Apply on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.
When will the NEET UG 2027 admit card be released?
